‘Until the squeeze bunt…’ Coach Lee Seung-yeop “It was an important game that could have extended the losing streak…all the players showed their will to win”

Doosan earned a one-run victory over KIA in the final game of a three-game weekend series.

Doosan earned a 3-2 one-point victory over KIA on Nov. 11 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul. It averted a sweep from back-to-back losses on Sept. 9 and 10.

Doosan starter Kwak Bin, who had been on the disabled list with a sore back, made his first appearance in 11 days and earned the win with six innings of three-hit ball, striking out two and walking one. It was his fourth win of the season. Lee Young-ha pitched two scoreless innings and Hong Gun-hee pitched a scoreless inning to preserve the win.메이저놀이터

Kang Seung-ho went 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. She scored the game-winning run in the fourth inning with a 1-0 lead after a triple and then made a spectacular sliding catch at home on a grounder to shortstop. It was initially ruled an out, but was overturned on video review.

Manager Lee Seung-yeop said after the game, “Starting pitcher Kwak-bin Kwak did his job perfectly by taking charge until the sixth inning. Lee Young-ha and Hong Gun-hee also pitched well without giving up a hit. In the batting lineup, Kang Seung-ho got a hit with a confident swing and scored a valuable run with a bold base hit.”

“In a crucial game that could have extended our losing streak, all of our players showed their will to win.”
