Josh Lindblom (36), former MVP of the KBO League, makes a fresh start at the front of a major league club.
On the 28th (Korean time), Milwaukee Professional Media Reviewing the Brew announced on its official Twitter account that “The Milwaukee Brewers have recruited Lindblom, a veteran of 15 years, as a frontman.”
Lindblom will be in charge of nurturing and coaching the young players.
Lindblom, who played in the American Major League and KBO League, recently announced his retirement.
Lindblom, who made his big league debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2011 but failed to establish himself, entered the KBO league in partnership with the Lotte Giants after the 2014 season.
Lindblom, who was responsible for the role of Lotte’s ace, recorded 23 wins and 24 losses with an ERA of 4.35 in 62 games from 2015 to 2016. 안전놀이터
After the 2016 season, he went to the United States to treat his sick daughter and returned to Lotte during the 2017 season, recording an average ERA of 3.72 with 5 wins and 3 losses in 12 games.
Ahead of the 2018 season, he wore a Doosan Bears uniform. In the first year of his move to Doosan, he had an excellent record of 15 wins and 4 losses with an ERA of 2.88, and the following year he went 20 wins and 3 losses with an ERA of 2.50. The 2019 KBO League regular season MVP was also Lindblom’s share.
Thanks to his performance in Korea, he signed a contract with Milwaukee and stepped back into the American major leagues.
However, he failed to show his expected performance and was relegated to the minor leagues for the 2021 season. Lindblom, who never returned to the big leagues, retired after the 2022 season.
