‘K League Legend’ 41-year-old Dejan withdraws from Hong Kong kitsch… Retirement announcement yet

Dejan leaves Kitchee, Hong Kong.

On the 16th, Dejan announced his departure from Kitchi through his personal SNS, saying, “The 2 years and 6 months journey I spent at Kitchi has come to an end. I am grateful to the coach and Kitchi staff.”

Dejan is a K-League legend. He joined Incheon United in 2007 and made a connection with the K-League. He made a name for himself based on his fearsome scoring record of 19 goals in 36 appearances. He came to Seoul in 2008. While playing for Seoul, he played 267 games and scored 154 goals. He won the K League 1 only three times (2010, 2012, 2016).

He was the top scorer only three times, and it was three consecutive years from 2011. He was named the Season’s Best Eleven four times and the Season’s Most Valuable Player once. Dejan, who broke various scoring records and foreign appearance records in Seoul, gave a surprise when he went to Suwon Samsung, Seoul’s biggest rival in 2018.

In his first season at Suwon, he scored 13 goals in 33 appearances. In 2019, he lifted the FA Cup trophy, but was disappointed by only scoring 3 goals in 21 matches. In 2020, he transferred to Daegu FC and continued his K-League life, showing his good health by scoring 9 goals and 3 assists in 23 games.먹튀검증

After Daegu, he parted ways with the K-League and headed to Kitchee, Hong Kong. Kitchi also led the team to win the Hong Kong League and advance to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL). In 2021, he even became the top scorer in the Hong Kong League. Dejan, who was born in 1981 and continued his active life even at the age of 40, is now leaving Kitchi.
