Former LG Twins foreign hitter Justin Boer announced his retirement from active play.

Boer has hit double-digit home runs for five consecutive years since 2015. In particular, he hit 25 homers in 2017, setting the record for the most in a single season.  

He wore an LG uniform as a substitute for Roberto Ramos in July 2021, but left only regrets with a lower-than-expected appearance. In 32 appearances, he had a batting average of 1.7 (17-for-100) with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
